Mondial Assistance is one of the world's largest providers of specialty insurance and assistance services. In the U.S., we're best known for our Access America^® travel insurance and Event Ticket Protector insurance. But we also provide medical assistance to millions of health plan members traveling abroad, and concierge services to millions more credit card users. In fact, over 100 million Americans rely on us each year, whether we're answering routine questions or helping with complex medical and travel emergencies.

Prior to June 4, 2008, the U.S. office of Mondial Assistance, located in Richmond, Virginia, operated as World Access. World Access began operations in 1983, and joined forces with Paris-based Mondial Assistance in 2000. After eight years in the Mondial Assistance family, World Access adopted the Mondial Assistance global brand, to better leverage our integrated global capabilities. We're proud to now communicate as one company, with one voice.

In the U.S., Mondial Assistance employs over 700 people in Richmond (8,600 globally), and continues with Access America as our most recognized brand in the travel services arena - providing travel insurance benefits and emergency assistance services to customers all over the world. Access America products are sold through travel agencies, cruise lines, tour operators, automobile clubs and e-commerce travel companies. Some of these longstanding, preferred relationships include AAA, American Express, Delta Airlines, American Airlines, Disney Cruise Line, Hotwire and Orbitz.

In the financial services industry, Mondial Assistance is one of the largest suppliers of claims administration and concierge services. Our clients include VISA USA and VISA Latin America in addition to numerous banking institutions. Mondial Assistance also provides emergency assistance, claims administration, cost containment and provider network access to insurance companies - in addition to international healthcare assistance for over 90 million Blue Cross Blue Shield customers living or traveling abroad.
